About the Speaker
Tim O’Rourke has been with Meltwater for 11 years and brings extensive experience navigating the changing world of digital media in diverse markets across the Asia–Pacific region.

Coming from a journalism background in Australia, O’Rourke has applied his passion for the news industry into assisting organizations in the public and private sectors. He helps them embrace new and emerging digital mediums and understand the connection between social media engagement and customer behavior.

For the past eight years, O’Rourke’s role has been managing teams in three Asia–Pacific countries. He is most excited about the potential that can be unlocked for customers in the Japanese market. Under his leadership, Meltwater’s Japan business has experienced rapid growth in the past 12 months, exceeding 40 percent year-over-year growth. The primary focus has been on how to use software platforms to better engage with audiences on social media channels.
